Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account or using RoGuard ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. These terms apply to all users of roguard.org.

What RoGuard is

RoGuard is a parental monitoring dashboard that lets parents and legal guardians track their child's activity on Roblox. It uses Roblox's publicly available API to show playtime, games played, friends lists, and safety alerts.

RoGuard is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Roblox Corporation. The Roblox name and logo are trademarks of Roblox Corporation.

Who can use RoGuard

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using RoGuard to monitor a child's account, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and that you have the right to monitor their activity.

RoGuard is not for use by children under 13.

Subscriptions and billing

• The Free plan is available at no cost with limited features.
• The Pro plan is $9.99 per month, billed monthly. Pricing may change with 30 days notice.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use RoGuard to monitor anyone other than your own minor child or a child you are the legal guardian of.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its underlying APIs.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent Roblox's terms of service through RoGuard.

Service availability

We aim to keep RoGuard running reliably but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. The Service depends on Roblox's public API — if Roblox changes or restricts their API, some features may stop working. We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party services.

Limitation of liability

RoGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

RoGuard is a monitoring tool, not a guarantee of child safety. Parents are responsible for their child's online safety.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email if we make significant changes. Continued use of RoGuard after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United States.
